Drop Shades/Roller Shades

Drop Shades, and Roller Shades prevent heat and UV rays from reaching your home's outdoor living space, the windows, exterior and interior, and all your investments. Verticle sunshades are the most efficient solution to high temperatures inside the house. Drapes, interior blinds, and window tinting are ineffective because the harmful rays have already reached the room and dissipated as heat. On a hot day, shading the outside of your home will reduce summer temperatures by as much as 20 degrees, saving you money on electricity.

Retractable Awnings

Retractable awnings are the perfect addition to your home, allowing flexibility to make the most of your space. When extended, Awnings provide shade and help to define space and create shade; when retracted, your awning blends into the background of your home, allowing a more open environment. And since our awnings are motorized, you can control your space by pressing a button. Manual-operated units are wonderful as well, allowing for a fail-safe operation. No power, no problem.

Retractable awnings create shade for your outdoor spaces, but they do so much more, creating a popular area in the home morning, noon and night. Whether you are eating breakfast outside, spending time with the family in the afternoon, or hosting a party in the evening, Awnings creates an ambiance, turning your patio into an outdoor retreat.

Shade Sails

Shade sails are probably as old as sailing vessels themselves. The Vikings probably utilized extra sails when lying (or looting) in port under a hot sun. They would have stretched them from masts to booms, railings, or any firm structure to cool their decks and companionways. Halyards would probably have been used to lift the mid areas for shedding rain. Today we make multi-sided “sails” according to the points we can anchor and tension from. These can become colorful free-form shades nearly anywhere. Strong posts can be planted where necessary to increase the shaded area. Most shades are made from mesh fabrics to allow heat to travel upward and wind to pass through.

Suspension Shades

The typical suspension awning utilizes cables or wire to suspend panels of canvas that travel back and forth when desired for shade and color. They are used anywhere there is a structure or framework to keep the tension the supporting wires need. We also manufacture free-standing frames to customize your space. They seem to “float” overhead while letting the day's heat dissipate between the panels. They are beautifully folded when stashed back at either end.

Canopies

Canopies are generally used as free-standing structures. They are usually steel, wood, or aluminum frames with laced or snap-on canvas coverings. Even tents are types of canopies. They may be used to make a grand protected entry (or tunnel) for stylish events, a shaded area to have a party, park your vehicle or boat at a dock, outdoor kitchen, kids play area or next to your home. Without a small one, you wouldn’t consider being in the sun all day at the flea market. Tent meetings and Big Tops have always presented their “acts” under canopies.
